I purchased my espresso machine not very long ago, and I wonder now how I ever got along without it. The array of machines to choose from including the extremely high end versions made my choice a difficult one. Although the fancy ones have some amazing features, the price was far too high. Then it seems I was instinctively drawn along the aisle to the automatic, fully dedicated version of the espresso machine by Krups.

I was so delighted with the very first espresso I brewed with my new Krups XP4050 that I have gone from being a devoted coffee lover to a verified coffee fanatic. I am anxious to tell you more of the wonderful features I discovered in this machine.

As much as I adore my machine, I must admit that, when it comes to cappuccinos, the milk frother was not what it could be. My solution was to take the frother off and use just the stem as a shorter version of the feature. The option to heat either milk or coffee in the Krups is a fantastic one. As a coffee making machine, it is without a doubt both mean and lean! The Krups machine comes with a variety of capsules that are quite inexpensive to replace, and which enable you to choose between single or double espresso shots. Be certain you lock the easy to use, refill, and remove water reservoir into place to ensure the steaming feature works as intended. But not to worry as, if everything is not correctly in place, the machine will let you know.

In summary, here is my opinion about the Krups XP4050 espresso machine:

• It can be used in many ways
• It is inexpensive
• It is easy to carry
• It makes great coffee
• The catchment tray could be larger
• The main nozzle could be of a better design

Keeping all this in mind, I believe this espresso machine to be one of the best of its kind on the market!

Hey Readers! I’ve been comin across some crazy stuff the past few days from a few different placesaround the web which I just had to share with you. Check em out below…

I have a Krups XP5020 consumer grade semi-auto Espresso Machine.

I have to say that it is pretty decent but it is still a consumer grade machine.

It has a”fool-proof” milk frother enhancer (warning! warning!).

Anyhow, sometimes (only sometimes), it CAN produce decent microfoam with half and half milk. But lately, it could not foam for nuts.

I thought the rubber bung that lets the air in might be stuffed up so I used a needle to clean it. Could not see through the hole so I used a small toothpick. I think it was a mistake. Coz now it foams but it make large bubbles instead of the microfoam I need.

Any ideas on how to fix the problem? Aside from getting a new machine coz I AM working on that.

5. The heating device is of superior quality
6. The drip tray does not stain and can come out for washing

8. There are buttons that control how hot the water is and how strong the brew is
9. It has a cappuccino brewer that is automatic
10. It comes with a number of inserts
11. It has a warming tray
12. You can purchase a steam enhancer separately
13. You can purchase extra water filters separately
14. You can purchase three different sizes of frothing pitchers separately
15. You can purchase a cleaner designed just for espresso machines separately
16. You can purchase a cappuccino set at an extra cost, this is worthwhile to own

I can’t deny it. I purchased every single accessory that was available for a price that was quite a bit less than the actual appliance. I feel like I have my own coffee house in my kitchen. So, I believe, now the choice is yours I am going to wrap this up since I have to brew some more cappuccinos in my Krups XP4050 for some visitors.

Now, I did not select this model simply because it could make coffee, but rather because it could make espresso, which is a must to get my day started. Once, I had considered the money I spent every morning to get my fix as a waste. However, with this machine and it’s excellent features, I no longer consider it as such.

Why did I purchase this specific model? Unfortunately, the cost of my fix every morning left me a little financially strained, so I was unable to purchase the model I really wanted. However, considering all the features of this model, my choice was a fair one:

After perusing through the model’s manual, I discovered that my model can even make cappuccinos. Simply amazing! Once my friends know about this machine, I am sure many will be paying a visit. As it is, my next door neighbor stops over and has a cup of coffee with me before work every morning!
